In today's world, unfortunately, it is our common experience to see many people who suffer in one way or the other.
Many people ask, "what are we to do to alleviate these sufferings?” My answer is that we bear witness to the mercy of God in utmost humility and therefore help in our own little way to alleviate the physical and spiritual ills and needs of others.
Our mission is to serve the community well by making good use of the materials in our disposal to carry out the work that God has entrusted to us. For this reason we would like to build a hospital and an orphanage for the poor in Abakaliki in Southeastern Nigeria, West Africa.

The parable of the Good Samaritan, one of the best known parables of Jesus, tells a story of a man left dying on the roadside after having been attacked and robbed by bandits. Unfortunately, many passed by the dying man and continued on their way and thus ignoring him. But a Good Samaritan stopped and treated his wounds and gave some money to the innkeeper saying “Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back”
(Parable of the Good Samaritan, cf. Luke 10, 25-37).

This parable reoccurs everyday in reality, but it is not often that a Good Samaritan passes to give succour to the weak and the suffering.

Whom will you identify yourself?

Giving is a duty of a good Christian.
Faith and love give sense to this duty.
My belief in Jesus Christ who has continually loved me and received me in open arms is what has urged me to begin this project.
It is time now for all of us to contribute to the realisation of this project in order to cater for all those who are in need.
Your contribution, therefore, becomes much more than a simple disbursement of money but a gesture of communion with those who are suffering.

If you want to contribute even a block for the construction of our hospital, we would reciprocate with infinite gratitude to you for the gesture.
Surely, the sick people who will eventually be cared for in our new structure will also be very grateful for your contribution.

What seems to you a small gesture is for others a great relief and an immense joy.

Thank you so much,
Rev. Sr. Mary Anne Nwiboko.
